The Cartier Santos Dumont is an iconic and historically significant watch from the early 20th century. It was named after Alberto Santos-Dumont, a Brazilian aviation pioneer who was a close friend of Louis Cartier, the founder of Cartier.

Launched by Cartier during the early 1990s , the Santos Carree Ref. 0901 boasts a satin-finished stainless steel case characterized by sporty design, courtesy of the automatic movement.

The watch has been freshly serviced.

CASE & BRACELET

Adorned with tiny screws encircling the mirror-polished bezel and the satin brushed bracelet, this model exemplifies one of the distinctive style elements associated with the Santos lineage. This Cartier model features a beautifully sized 23mm x 30mm case making it an ideal choice for men and women.

The case itself is in beautiful condition. The case back retains all factory engravings and trademarks in clear and clean condition.

DIAL AND HANDS

The perfect condition white dial of the Santos Carree features the “Swiss Made” stamp at the 6 o´clock position and a hidden Cartier stamp at 10 o´clock. In addition, the hands are made of blued steel and complement the crown, which is set with a blue sapphire cabochon.

How the Neo vintage watch wears

There is a real feeling of special when wearing this Santos Carree. The heavy steel case sits flat and smooth on the wrist, its minimal height and slimline construction allowing it to fit with complete ease under any style of sleeve. Unobtrusive yet fabulously distinct in its appearance, it is an absolute delight to wear.
