This is a very cool and rare Must de Cartier Tank 1616 that was originally released in 1995 to celebrate 70th anniversary of the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts held in 1925. The event held in Paris, attracted thousands of visitors and was seen as a major turning point in the world of design as it introduced to the world the new style modern of architecture, interior decoration, furniture and other decorative arts.
CASE & BRACELET
This is a lovely neo vintage watch 925 sterling silver Cartier Tank in superb condition, in a case that measures 23x30mm and is stamped 27x/1000 pieces. The watch has the classic Cartier signature of a blue cabochon topped winding crown and comes fitted with tye pictured blue fitted leather strap and its original stainless steel deployant clasp.
The caseback retains all factory engravings and trademarks in clear and unpolished clean condition.
DIAL AND HANDS
The dial is Art Deco inspired and features four colours, including black, dark purple, matte silver and matte gold, with some Roman numeral quarters and the Must de Cartier signature in the lower right corner.
The dial shows some vintage aging at 11 am and some tiny vintage aged spots, which you can barely see in person.
How it wears
The watch is the perfect unisex watch. Can be worn formal and sporty at the same time. A great conversation starter watch. Thank of the quartz movement, you don´t need to set the time every day.
